Delivery Happens the Second You Pay

There is no delay between a confirmed payment and product access at MetteMochi. The instant your transaction goes through, your purchased materials are unlocked and available to you. Because access is granted automatically at the moment of purchase, your order is legally and practically considered delivered and fulfilled from that point forward. This applies whether or not you have clicked a link, opened a file, or interacted with the product in any way after the transaction completed.


The Standard Position: No Refunds

MetteMochi does not issue refunds on completed purchases as a standard practice. Once a digital product has been made accessible to you, the transaction is final. The reasoning behind this is straightforward: digital files can be copied, stored, and retained the moment they are accessed, which means there is no meaningful way to return them. Unlike a physical product that can be sent back, a digital file that has been delivered cannot be undelivered.

To make sure you purchase with full confidence, every product on this website is described in detail before you buy. The listing tells you exactly what is included, what formats are used, who the product was made for, and how it is intended to be used. Reading that information carefully before completing your purchase is the single most effective action you can take to ensure the product is the right fit for you.


Situations That Will Never Qualify for a Refund

The following will not be accepted as grounds for a refund under any condition, at any point after a purchase has been completed:

  • Deciding after the transaction is done that you no longer want the product or would prefer something different
  • Purchasing a product without intending to, or selecting the wrong item during checkout
  • Not reading the product description, listed contents, file format details, or stated intended audience before buying
  • Expecting physical materials, printed guides, or shipped items from a store that sells exclusively digital products
  • Believing the product would contain features, depth, or content that were never described or implied in the listing
  • Downloading or accessing the product successfully and then deciding it does not meet your personal preference
  • Lacking the experience level, technical familiarity, or skill set needed to apply the product, where this was not verified before purchasing
  • Any change in your personal schedule, professional situation, or business direction that occurred after the purchase was made
  • Dissatisfaction with your own results after using the materials, since outcomes depend entirely on individual effort, consistency, existing skill, and how the tools are put into practice

The Narrow Exceptions That May Be Reviewed

There are three specific technical circumstances under which a purchase may be submitted for review. No situation outside of these three will be considered, regardless of how it is framed or presented.

  • Access was never delivered after payment. Your payment was successfully confirmed by the payment processor, but the product was never made available to you. No file was unlocked, no link was generated, and the failure can be traced to a technical problem originating from our platform rather than from your own device, browser, or internet connection. If this applies to your order, contact us immediately and include your order confirmation and payment receipt. The situation will be investigated and corrected as quickly as possible.

  • The delivered file is confirmed to be corrupted. The file you received is structurally damaged, incomplete, or entirely unopenable through standard compatible software, and the issue persists even after re-downloading the file. To have this reviewed, you must supply the exact error message or failure description you encountered, the name and version of the software you used to attempt to open the file, and your device type and operating system. When genuine file corruption is confirmed, a corrected replacement file will be issued. A refund in place of a replacement will only be considered in cases where the issue cannot be resolved through redelivery of a working file.

  • A duplicate charge was applied to your account. Your payment method was charged more than once for the same product as a direct result of a processing error during a single checkout session. This does not refer to intentionally purchasing the same product on two separate occasions. Transaction and order records will be cross-referenced, and any confirmed duplicate charge will be resolved appropriately.

Submitting a request under any of these categories does not guarantee a particular resolution. Every case is reviewed individually using the available order data and the information you provide.


Checking Compatibility Before You Buy Is Your Responsibility

All MetteMochi products are produced in file formats that are widely used across professional baking, culinary education, and kitchen management contexts. These are standard formats compatible with commonly available software. The formats used in each product are described in the relevant listing page.

Before purchasing, it is entirely your responsibility to confirm that your device, operating system, and installed applications are capable of opening and working with the formats involved. Incompatibility between a purchased product and your specific technical setup is not a valid basis for requesting a refund. If there is any uncertainty about whether a product will work in your environment before you buy, contact us and we will answer your question directly. That conversation is straightforward before payment. After access has been delivered, it is not.


Download and Store Your Files Immediately

Once your purchase is complete and your files are accessible, download them right away and save them somewhere secure. We strongly recommend keeping your purchased files in a dedicated folder and maintaining at least one additional backup in a separate location, such as personal cloud storage or an external drive. Continued access through our platform or original download links is not guaranteed indefinitely. System changes, platform updates, or technical transitions may affect link availability over time. MetteMochi bears no responsibility for files that are lost or become inaccessible because they were not properly downloaded and stored after the purchase was completed.


Product Updates and Future Versions

Certain MetteMochi products may be improved, expanded, or updated over time as new materials are added or existing content is refined. Access to future updates, additional modules, or revised versions of a product is not automatically included with a past purchase unless the product listing at the time of purchase explicitly states otherwise. Purchasing a product grants you access to the version available at the time of your transaction. Any future updates are governed by whatever terms are specified for that update when it becomes available.


How You Are and Are Not Permitted to Use These Products

Every purchase made on this website grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the product within your own baking practice, professional kitchen, or bakery business. That license belongs to you and cannot be shared, assigned, extended, or transferred to any other individual or organization under any circumstances.

The following are explicitly prohibited and constitute a serious breach of the terms under which these products are sold:

  • Sharing, forwarding, or passing any purchased file to any other person, whether freely or in exchange for payment or trade
  • Uploading any product to a shared drive, group folder, online community, social media platform, or any other location accessible to people outside your own account

  • Presenting any portion of a purchased product as original work authored by someone other than MetteMochi, in any professional, educational, or commercial setting

Any confirmed violation of these terms may result in the immediate and permanent revocation of access to all current and future MetteMochi products. We reserve the right to take further protective action where intellectual property has been misused, copied without authorization, or distributed in violation of these terms.


Chargebacks Initiated Without Prior Contact

Filing a chargeback or formal payment dispute with your bank, credit card provider, or payment platform without first contacting MetteMochi and giving us a genuine opportunity to address your concern is a direct violation of the agreement you accepted at the time of purchase. The correct and required first step for any issue with a transaction is to reach out to us directly.

If a chargeback is filed, MetteMochi will respond to the payment processor by submitting all available supporting documentation, including transaction records, delivery confirmation, access logs, and a copy of this policy as it existed at the time of the purchase in question, as evidence that the order was fulfilled in full accordance with the terms you agreed to. Accounts associated with chargebacks that are found to lack legitimate basis may be permanently restricted from making any future purchases on this website.


Changes to These Terms Going Forward

These terms may be revised at any time and without prior notice, at the sole discretion of MetteMochi. Updates may be made in response to changes in our product catalog, delivery infrastructure, platform functionality, business practices, or applicable legal requirements. Any revised version of this policy takes effect immediately upon publication on this page and applies to all purchases made from that date forward. Purchases completed before a revision remain subject to the version of this policy that was in place at the time of that transaction.
